The Career, Guidance and Counseling department (CGCD) welcomes you all to this school website of Matongo Boys High School (MBHS).

This department consist of two members as: Mr. Malachi Ogeke (HOD) and Mr. Charles Ndemo (DEPUTY HOD) 

The department’s core business is not only to come up with Career, Guidance and Counselling strategies and programmes but also to enhance team work and create a conducive encouraging working environment for Curriculum implementation; as a means of guiding and enabling the learners to identify and nurture their dream abilities and skills which are in lines with their personal interests and values – and re-orient them  to the available marketable training and job opportunities  in both locally and internationally.

Towards this far end, the department has enhanced individual development and self-fulfilment of learners, staff members and Matongo community as a whole to realize their national goals in particular; education.
